How to: Spectate players
You should read these guides first:
First thing you'll need to do is set up an admin account, you should check out how to do that here. Once you've finished making yourself an administrator you can follow on with this guide.
What is it used for?
Spectate allows your admin to follow a player automatically. Currently, the first-person view is not very useful, but by pressing F3 you can switch to third-person and allow your admin to easily follow a user and monitor them.
PLEASE NOTE THIS COMMAND KILLS YOUR USER IN ITS PLACE - IF YOU ARE FLYING IT WILL DROP YOUR BODY TO THE FLOOR AND PLAYERS CAN LOOT YOUR CORPSE.
Spectate Random Users
As an Admin via the F1 Console please run the following command
spectate
This will spectate a random user, you can cycle through players with SPACE and CTRL.
Spectate a Specific User
As an Admin via the F1 Console please run the following command
spectate STEAMID
Make sure you replace STEAMID with the user you want to spectates Steam ID, you cannot cycle through players when spectating a specific user.
Exiting Spectate
As an Admin via the F1 Console please run the following command
respawn
