Having trouble installing plugins on your server? Look no further, this guide will help you get your server up and running again!
Pre-Install Check
Before we begin, make sure that your server is turned off before making any changes to files!
Before we get started, make sure your server is shut down, and you have downloaded your plugin. Do this to make sure no files will be harmed whilst editing the server.
Installing Plugins
Let's say you'd want to use the Essentials plugin, so you can use that to teleport use A to user B without the hassle of the spectator camera. Download the essentials plugin (essentialt.zip) and store it on your computer. From there, open your FTP client and connect to your server. When connected, you will see a file with a number (your user ID), open this file. Once you've opened your root directory, you'll have to find the "Plugins" folder located there. Open this folder, and simply upload your essentials.zip to this folder.
Booting Up
Once you've completed the steps above, you will have taken all steps towards installing this plugin. Now boot (or start) the server, and open the console to see if your plugin is actually loading.
If you have any trouble along the way, our amazing support team is waiting to help!
